Unprinted Crown Shield

I recently purchased these shields. They are ovoid crown knight shields but don't have the blue background printing! I also got some totally unprinted shields.

Anyone seen these before?

(ps Is it possible to deeplink from mocpages? I faffed around for a bit but couldn't get it to work)
(pps I know this isn't a 'set' but figured it wasn't custom and matched the thread about black falcom mis-printing, in this forum so apologies if its in the wrong section).

So these are just misprints? Pretty cool. Could be used for a subfaction or to distinguish a royal guard.

The way to "deep link" on MOCpages is when you are looking at a MOCpages creation page, click the photo you want to view larger. Once you're at this page that you basically posted above, right click and choose "view image". Look at your address bar and that's the deeplink. Here's the image deep-link-ified.

But no, I have not seen those shields! Interesting...I bet they're in some sort of set of one or another...either that or it's a quality issue.

I got them from a chap in Poland who has been selling loads of random pieces, said he'd bought them in a bulk lot. They're not custom, the background just hasn't been printed. So yeah I'm going to use them as the king's guards.

My thoughts exactly, I can picture my Crown monarch surrounded by body guards with these shields. Or, another idea is to make another faction out of them, allied with the Crown faction, if you could get ahold of enough shields.
