Forums are all wonky

Postby JoshWedin » Fri Jul 22, 2011 3:06 am

Hey All,

I'm sure most of you have noticed that the boards went down today and that they are still a bit "off". We had some technical difficulties and our esteemed Tony Sava has restored some functionality. He is working on the rest but it may take some time.

Thank you for your patience,
Josh

Ah, and I thought it might just be me and my old computer.

Thanks for the heads up.

I'm not sure what you are referring to, but things will be a bit off until Tony has time to get everything fixed.

The forum software has been upgraded. Things should be stable now, but please report any errors you encounter.

when I got on yesterday I could not view any posts, all that I could see was a thin blue line where each post should have been.

That is pretty much what everyone saw. I caught it first and reported it. Around here its always good to remember some patience, let some of us know (I'm usually around in chat) and it will get fixed.

The consensus seems to be that we got hacked. Everything has been fixed. The forum software has been updated, thanks to Tony Sava. If you find any persisting problems, please report them here.

Not really a problem, more of a discrepancy but the link in the header now takes me to the forums rather than the frontpage. Not really a massive issue to be honest but hey...
