Hey all,

Diabel made this amazing version of Castel Del Monte from 13th century Apulia, Italy.

I saw this earlier today on Brickshelf. I must say, I really like this castle. Robert Carney did a larger version of this castle a few years ago but I find that this version is more aesthetically pleasing with the tan and the mottled bricks on the wall and on the roof. It really looks amazing. The landscaping is also quite striking with its mix of dark tan and green. It's always nice to see a castle that isn't grey; particularly when it's executed this well.

Diabel is Lugpol member, I know him personally and he is fantastic builder.
This castle is simply magnificant :)
It`s on 80x80 studs square. Scale is about 1:120.
Whole castle was scaled to panels used in the towers.

Very well done, however Bob Carney's one fit better minifig scale... which is my priority! In any case, very good choice of colours and very very nice landscape, a very good work, congratulations!

Beautiful, simply beautiful. I like the plants and the color of the walls.

That looks really well done. I especially noted the difficulty he must of had in doing the flooring on the top. Fantastic find Bruce and thanks for sharing!

Incredible piece of work! All the details in the walls are amazing. The entry way is well done as well. Too bad it is too small for minifigures but it is still incredible.
