My LUG does Pirates!

Postby Ye Olde Republic » Sat Jul 02, 2011 12:36 pm

Southern Alberta LEGO users group spent the weekend of June 17-19th 2011 at the Calgary comic and entertainment expo. We decided to go ahead with a Pirates of the Caribbean display; one of our lug's first really collaborative displays. We really seemed to get a very positive response from the public and the members also seemed to have enjoyed spending the weekend with each other and doing the building for the show. Cheers all and here's to having the next show go as great as this one did!

Trust me, I think I'm funnier than you do.
Why do I have to add the word "minifig" to my spell checker every time I use it?!

Great layout, Trevor! I haven't looked at all the pics yet, but I see some great stuff in there.

Our LUG learned a lot about doing one large collaborative display. Overall a great experience and one that will enhance all of our future shows. Can't wait for our next Castle display!

Gosh... too bad there isn't a LUG in South Carolina... That looks like an awesome project!
