Guess what I found...Okay, it's an elf.

Post by theboywarrior »

I found a case of Collectible Minifigures Series Three at Wal-mart last night, and it had been thouroughly picked over. As a result, I am now the proud owner of an Elf.
Some folk we never forget
Some kind we never forgive
Haven’t seen the back of us yet
We’ll fight as long as we live

Woot! Grats! I picked up my first elf a couple of weeks ago at the Lego store between home and work. They still have quite a few Series 3 bags there, and I actually found him pretty quickly by looking for the shield :)
He's definitely one of my favorite figures, and I love the heraldry on the shield. Nice find!

My story is exactly the same as AK_Brickster's, except I went with a friend, found each of us an elf and two samurais (plus a series 4 hazmat guy for me :D ) and then, unable to live with myself after giving an elf to my friend, returned to the lego store Megablocks bent onn finding another Elf (which I did, along with 2 hula girls  ).

Yeah, Josh wants me to look for some elves for him the next time I'm at the Lego store. It's going to be hard to give them up once I find them, but maybe I'll be able to find a couple for myself as well :eyebrows:
