Tavern of the Green Lantern

Post by JoshWedin »

Hey All,

Here is a little something that I built for Forbidden Cove's August Seedpart Contest. The challenge was to use frogs in the most creative way.

I hope you enjoy!

That's quite creative. Plus the figures set the tone that the casual passerby might not want to take too long to admire the lantern.

The lantern is cool, but I like the use of the dark bley frogs the best!
You would rather be building right now.

The lantern is cool as it is, but I actually think it would much better as a chandalier for an interior scene. Other than that the dark bley frogs are just gorgeous where they are, and the mugging/stabbing is one of the best lego muggings/stabbings I've seen :D

I thought I was going to see a bar full of DC superheroes with Green Lantern as its bartender/owner, whoops....

Beautiful little structure here! I like the way you created that lantern. The guy that's getting mugged - poor sap - it looks painful....

Nice moc! I think the roof and minifigure posing stood out the most to me. I also thought the pig was a nice touch. Definitely a creative use for frogs!
