How about all of the above?
Between plotting to kill you all and chasing balls of yarn, I also build MOCs

Tsk, tsk! Master Cat, that'd be nigh on spamming--unless you mean that any one of the three might be appropriate, depending on the animation...

The problem, klorox, is that Classic-Castle has not, as a general rule, had a history of animations, so we don't really have a tradition in our "common law" of how to deal with them.

Consequently, although I am a Moderator, I cannot give you a clear answer... but here is what I think would *probably* apply:

If your animation clearly tells a story AND is about Castle(ish) LEGO, it might belong in the Stories forum.

If your animation clearly tells story but is NOT about Castle (ish) LEGO, it might belong in the General LEGO forum.

Even if your animation does not tell a clear story (about Castle or otherwise), it would probably belong in the Publishing Forum--and this is my *personal* recommendation. Stuff about cameras and sketches/drawings of LEGO have been placed there before, and it would seem like a reasonable extension of this principle to put animations of LEGO there.

Your animation would NOT belong in the Customs forum, unless it was highlighting a new customised LEGO piece (so far, I believe, none of your animations have done so).

Anyway, that's MY intuition on the matter, but because the matter is not exactly sealed (and because I'm not an Admin, only a Mod), I'll leave this thread here. I would say to start new Animation threads in the Publishing forum, unless told to do otherwise.

Also, on a tangentially related note, I recall it being suggested in a conversation somewhere that these animations might be a little hard on the eyes of someone prone to seizures (such as an epileptic). With this in mind, it might be helpful if you could put the word "animation" or "animated" in the title of future threads with animations--personally, I don't think it's something you need to stress out over, but it would take all of an extra two seconds and might make some people happy.

In the mean time, keep up the good animating work.

My intentions are always good ;) I meant he should keep making animations, also make customs, and MOCs as well. Instead of "moving to" one area of expertise, why not explore them all?
