Josh, I have one more question...

I assume just one side of my space (or one side plus the end) is facing the public. Which side faces the public? (the little chart below is two chars per 30"x30" portion of table:

F1 F2 other...
F3 F4 other...

So if I'm at the left end of the table as the public views it, is F1, F2 the "back" or F3, F4?

This will help me figure our how I want to lay out my river and coast.

Thanks

Frank

Hey Frank,

Using your diagram, this is how it actually is:

......................Behind the Scenes.................................
"Large Stand-Alone MOC", F1 F2, "Other Cooperative Layout section"
"Large Stand-Alone MOC", F3 F4, "Other Cooperative Layout section"
.......................Public Viewing.....................................

So "F1 F2" is the back and "F3 F4" is the front. "F2 F4" will be meeting up with a BpB edge. "F1 F3" will be facing a large stand-alone MOC that doesn't fit anywhere else.

Does this make sense?

I'm all packed and ready to fly to the other side of the world ;)
Unfortunately I'm very limited in what I can pack in one suitcase, so I'm bringing my own MOC, no additional baseplates or terraforming elements or vegetation or figs :(
and some clothes.

See you all there!
Between plotting to kill you all and chasing balls of yarn, I also build MOCs

Is there anything directly behind my MOC? I know there's 20" of space, I couldn't remember if it was going to be filled in.

Cool, I will work to that.

I may end up having the coast along the front (in which case, I'll have the coast bend so that the "other cooperative layout section" lines up with land...

This is what I was most excited about seeing in the pics this year. I can't wait to see if AC is going to repeat last year's antics.

We'll need to find a picture of Robin Hood to take our pictures with again.

It is not going to be filled in because it wouldn't be able to be seen. Therefore I planned to leave it bare for a smallish building area. Did you need it? If so, go ahead an use it.

Nearly everyone has made an appearance already and its only the pre-con setup day. The layout is already looking awesome! Pics will be coming soon, I'm sure.
