You and me both. Apparently we failed to get the memo.

Okay.

I've lumped the detail photos into one file. I typically like to just have one photo, but I took this on Sunday, and was so terrible exhausted. So there are close up shots of all of the sigfigs. :)

My first photoshoot and the wrong head, torso, and sword ends up on my sigfig.

That was me. You're welcome. He is now occupying a place of honor (with friends) on a fine shelf in my LEGO room, awaiting the completion of my upcoming tavern MOC. Once complete, he will be able to enjoy endless food, drink, and hospitality. (Separate MOC thread to follow... eventually.)

This is yet another reason why I'm going to propose for next year's BrickCon that we have a messageboard setup in the hang-out room. Such a message board could be a location where LUGs and forums like classic-castle could leave meeting times and places for one another (like sigfig photo shoot or just when and where we're meeting to head to dinner), where folks wanting rides to the LEGO store and drivers with open passenger seats could meet up, etc.

It was my understanding (and everyone else's whos sigfigs were there), that we set our sig figs up on the first day, they then stay at that spot in the layout for the remainder of the event for whenever the sigfig photoshoot takes place.

I was under the same impression as our esteemed feline but I still like the idea of a place to leave each other messages. I can set up something like that next Brickcon

...mm.

I apologize for being busy (re: prizes) and not communicating clearly when I took the "official" photo. Which was Sunday, after five hours sleep, with my nephew in tow.

I'd be happy to pass the message board idea on to the planning committee, since they're meeting next week.

To everyone who built and brought figures, thank you! This is totally a community endeavor. I just try and organize the moving parts. :)

That is just the minimum of interesting things that happened with the sigfigs.
