Thanks for coordinating the collaborative display, Josh! I had a blast and it was fun to see everyone and meet a bunch of fellow CC'ers. I'll post my own pics of the Con soon. Already brainstorming for next year!

I just got back home, jetlagged and exhausted but it was well worth it onceagain!
Castle was really well represented this year, big pat on the back for all of us!

Now I can't wait for next year

So.... did the castle section rock, or did it rock? There were so many splendid things there. I loved it. It always inspires me to see all the houses and small buildings that are part of the layout; I immediately want to run home and try some myself, and maybe a tower or two (one in DUPLO for good measure). Well done, everybody! And congrats to AlienCat for the win for best collaborative contribution, and to Josh for the best Ollie (man, those whiskers just made it perfect). (And now I'm wondering if the gal who is making the Hogwarts castle has an online presence anywhere; that was sure a fun creation to look at, too.)

Not only is it not invisible, it's pink!

I really enjoyed being there, I had lots of fun (though it would have been nice to have been able to set up earlier...).

Hey,

Could anyone point me to pictures of the Superheroes collaborative display? I've looked through lots of galleries and not yet seen it.

Agreed. Well done everybody.
Some call him the Azure Avenger. Others call him the Azure Assassin. Most have sense enough not to call him....

I made her register here at Classic-Castle, last word I got was she's waiting for her account to be activated admin-side, but this is a few days ago so she may be around already.

Nice to meet you at the Con, Frank. That was quite the last-minute hustle to get ready, wasn't it? We'll both have to get there earlier next time so we have more time to enjoy the Friday festivities. See you next year!

(I'm the one w/ the large gray castle who set up right next to your pink one.)

It was nice to be next to you Brickster (Jordan right? Or was Jordan the guy in back with the larger castle?). I didn't get much of a chance to appreciate your castle but looked good.

I also really enjoyed being next to One small village of indomitable Gauls...

Yep that's me! And I plan on taking some proper pics of it and posting here later, so you can "appreciate" it later, if you like :)

EDIT: Fraslund found them. They decided to hang out with the Dragon Knight main army for a bit. :)

I seem to be missing my entire contingent of Kingdoms Dragon Knights!
They were last seen attacking Fraslund's castle which was directly behind mine. I'm guessing there were 5-6 of them, including one mounted knight w/ the dragon barding on his horse.

Really hoping that someone has them....

Not to disrupt AK_Brickster's inadvertant plea, but I just wanted to say that I had a wonderful time at BrickCon. I truly enjoyed meeting many CC members there, and as Aliencat will attest, the event was AESWIONME!!!

^^Did you see the Lost and Found thread? viewtopic.php?f=6&t=21089

I haven't seen anything posted about your stuff, but it might not hurt to add it to the list?

Bricksters Dragonknights have been found! It appears that they were so impressed with the dragon fortress they decided to take residence for a week two....
