Just a doodle

Post by jediknight219 »

Somebody's probably already figured this trick out, but I recently realized that the diagonal edge of this piece is really close to 10 studs long.

The right triangle's two shorter sides are 7 studs by 7 studs, so by the Pythagorean theorem, 7^2 + 7^2 = 49 + 49 = 98, aaaalmost 10^2, so yeah, the long side is just shy of 10 studs.

I really aught to find a way to use it. And some of the other angles too, in a more creative way, since I think there's some others that work out similarly. Thanks for the reminder!
