Microscale gothic castle

Post by Toltomeja »

Entry for the Mini Castle Contest VII
Ater many unsuccessful attempts, I finally managed to build a fine microscale castle.Mainly because I had discovered how well can cogwheels form some charming towers. And so, I started experimenting with them, to make the towers both high and stylish. I wanted to build a castle that is rather high than vast, unlike my previous creations, and I must admit that such a building looks inpomparably more impressive. :)

I've made a classic black stand to present the castle itself, but I will also probably try to add some landscape to it. My first sketches included waterfall, lake or some volcanic landscape (lava, dragons, etc.). I'd like to build each version apart and I'll see the result. If you have some more ideas for the surroundings of my MOC, just let me know in this thread.

Enjoy!

Those spires are very amazing! I really like the unordinary layout of the castle as well.

Wow! This is awesme! When I see entries like this, I'm not sure I'll enter MCC at all.
I like micro scale, but MOCs like this make me hopeless.
Anyway, pure awesomness!

I have to agree that the tallness over vastness of this tower makes it really awesome!

Yeah, I sounded chidlish. I won't give up, since I want to build more Castle MOCs, and I already have an idea. I just wanted
to point out I won't stand a chance since I have a serious lack of LBG in my collection. I guess I'll post it tommorow.

Thanks for encouragment.
