Castle Seawatch WIP
Hi,
Seawatch is a large castle project going on for a while. It will be built in what I feel is minifig scale, covering about 20 48x48 plates and be surrounded by a diorama about the same size. All floors and areas in the castle will be axessable
I´ll edit this first post with new updates, more pictures will come soon.
Hope you enjoy!
SeaGate Tower
The SeaGate leads down to the harbour and is guarded by a heavy fortificated tower. The tower has two levels and features two double gates and a massive portcullis maneuvred from the second level. The tower is fully modular and axessable light the rest of the castle. Multiple arrowslits and murderholes ensures full control of those seeking to enter the middle curtain.

HarbourKeep
Harbourkeep houses the castles garrison and gives a good wiew and control over both the inner and outer curtain and over the harbour.
All floors can be removed and all areas are acessable for discovery and play.Have no interior pictures yet as lack of bricks prevented me from finish it.
A stairtower with spiral staircase takes you up to the stunning wiew of the little bay and the fotifications of Castle Seawatch.

I really like your style of castle building. I can't wait to see more. Super job on the tower. It looks almost life-like.
Re: Chaintower at Castle Seawatch WIP

Those roofs are tough to do, but you did a great job on yours.

This is awesome! Aside from the incredible size, a couple of things caught my attention. The angles are very well done, and I really liked that wall that was sloping down. The portcullis with the slots in the ground for the spikes is a brilliant detail.

Re: Castle Seawatch WIP
Very impressive! As Medieval Guy said before, there are many great details apart from the size; I especially like the many angles this thing has.

This is gorgeous -- and very realistic-looking. Your archways and acute angles are phenomenal! I also like how you put jumper plates here and there among the tiled surfaces so your minifigs will have something subtle to stand on.
Great work!

Re: Castle Seawatch WIP
Wow, I made two minifig scaled castles and those were big. But you plans are really massive!
Huge project you have, I hope to see stages and final outcome. Take your time...
And it looks so good too.

Something I missed on the first pass was your awesome merlons. I love what you've put on the top of them!
