On the first post of this entire thread, it says:
Note: We are working with our programmer to update the entry pages. Please be patient as it may take one to two weeks for these pages to be operable. Thanks.

I have a question. for the fantasy minifig or the realistic minifig categories, is it okay to put multiple other figures in to help make your fig stand out?

36. This category is not intended to be a fantasy castle category. Your bandits should be 100% human. Thanks.
It strikes me that people have sort of been working themselves into a corner with some of the questions. Asking about rules of form is one thing; asking about creative content is another.

Sorry for asking so late, but do broken parts (e.g. a pointed visor with the ridge broken, a chrome sword with no chrome) count as custom pieces?

In 'Wooden Castle' category, have to be wooden roofs? Can't be red tile?
In 'Medieval Holiday' category, can be prince's or king's wedding?
In 'Knight's Quest' category, can I build three scenes depicting Crusade? For exemple: expedition to the Holy Land, killing infidels and die with honor on the battlefield.

Thanks for your attention,
LL

You mustn't ask, you just have to build what you want to!

KumpelKante wrote:Btw. where do you draw the line between a custom fig and the mythical creature category?
50. This will be a judgement call by the admins on a case by case basis. We reserve the right to move any entry into a more appropriate category if we feel that it does not meet category requirements.
klorox wrote:I have a question. for the fantasy minifig or the realistic minifig categories, is it okay to put multiple other figures in to help make your fig stand out?
51. All of the winning entries from past Colossal Castle Contests in these categories have been single figures that were extremely well designed.
theboywarrior wrote:Do broken parts (e.g. a pointed visor with the ridge broken, a chrome sword with no chrome) count as custom pieces?
52. No. They are original LEGO elements that broke during play. Official elements that are purposely carved, cut, and sanded only belong in the custom figure categories.
Lolino wrote:In 'Wooden Castle' category, have to be wooden roofs? Can't be red tile?
53. Yes. Tile would be allowed for roofs in that category.
In 'Medieval Holiday' category, can be prince's or king's wedding?
54. No. We are looking for holidays that are celebrated on a regular basis.
In 'Knight's Quest' category, can I build three scenes depicting Crusade? For example: expedition to the Holy Land, killing infidels and die with honor on the battlefield.
55. No. This is not a "crusade" category. Hopefully your knight has a quest other than dying on a battlefield.

Hi,
I made a mistake on my submited entry. Due to misinterpretation of the term "userid"...

I understand "UserID" as an array : UserID, UserName, etc... as I represent an User on a database's row.
So for this entry, I wrote into the userid input the number who represent my user-account for this forum, and my user-name in the name input...

Now the entry is published, and I see that the number take place as my name :
http://www.classic-castle.com/events/cc ... value=4878

Is it possible to correct these datas ? Or delete this submit, then I can make another try ?

Because, I want to submit other entry for other prizes.. And I dont know if I have to continue on these parameters, or correct them...

Here is the topic where I published this entry (at first) :
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=21266
Forgive me if sometimes I write in English as a robot...

56. The userid does mean your username on the Classic-Castle forums. Please see your update entry here: http://classic-castle.com/events/ccc/vi ... value=nsun

When I click on that link, it works OK-- can you elaborate a bit more? What browser are you using? And when you say "doesn't work", what doesn't work about it? Do you get a 404 not found error? A 500 server error? Does the page simply look strange (if so, how)? Does it not load, or take a long time? Also, what URL is displayed when you attempt to access the broken page?
