Vine Covered Arch
Out in the forest by an ancient archway covered in vines, an apothecary gathers herbs.
I'm still working on getting a lighting setup; I have instructions, I just have to get all the pieces together. My first MOC worth posting.

Now that's a cool arch! The minifig looks cool too. Good job!
Re: Vine Covered Arch
Arch is fantastic!! Love how the connection is hidden so its all arty and looks great. I would put a shield there if using the design for castles.I probably will borrow this idea sooner than later!
I have not seen that female torso/dress piece before, that's a great one for the castle/medieval theme. I would love 1 too if I knew where it was from.
Thanks a bunch for sharing. Cheers!!!

Re: Vine Covered Arch
The arch is well done, though it would be much better using dark grey studs in place of light gray. Still, great little scene.

Re: Vine Covered Arch
First time I saw that Professor Sprout figure I thought it would be perfect for the local herbalist/healer type.
I like the idea of using a shield at the top of the arch. I was thinking this used to be a shine to some old sun/moon god or goddess, and the face had just eroded away...

Re: Vine Covered Arch
Ok, now that is a clever technique.

Does that torso have flesh coloring at the neck?

Re: Vine Covered Arch
It does not. The printing looks like it is supposed to be some sort of corsage. I have one in right beside me that I just inspected...Username wrote:Does that torso have flesh coloring at the neck?
