That's a very cool looking Drow. So good, in fact, it gives me some ideas. Do you happen to have a clearer shot of the figure? Anyway, nice job.

Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely!

Despise learning and make everyone pay for your ignorance.

The water that floats a ship is the same that sinks it.

My LEGO figures keep me from being evil, drat!!

I have the same problem with my camera, also when macro-mode is activated.
Now I have a tripod, it's realy helpfull. But if you dont have it, I know a tip that maybe fix that problem.

If your camera is a digital-compact model, it maybe move a little when you press the button on shooting.

So, if you use the "timer" mode : (as to take a family's picture, where the photographer running in few second to take place behind everyone).
you put your camera on the table (on a book...) in good position to frame the picture. Camera must stand alone, without any hand.
With timer, the shoot is executed few second after pressing the button, no hand shake will affect the capture.
Forgive me if sometimes I write in English as a robot...

Does your camera take big pictures you have to resize to be smaller?

If so try this:

Take the picture from further back. It may not be able to focus when it's close to something. If you get a picture in focus, don't resize it. Instead, just crop it down.

thanks for the tip :) I took a new picture using your suggestion http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/lord-of-orks/CCCIX/drow/picture_398.jpg it's still not perfect, but it's much clearer.
