I really like the Cimmerian Axe as a socketed weapon! That makes it much more versatile.

I second that... I would really prefer the flexibility/versatility of putting it on different poles for different uses, etc.

I have been lurking here on this thread, but I suppose I should speak for Will's sake:

I am a bit of a purist and have yet to buy any custom weapons/accessories, but have seriously considered doing so and probably will once my core LEGO purchases slow down. But these weapons are some of the best I have seen and would definitely be more likely to make me get some - my biggest beef with many others is the lack of realism or doing something that LEGO already does (I prefer to have genuine LEGO if they are very similar in most cases).

In any case, I like all of these but my favorites are the Cimmerian Axe, Halberd, and Naginata in that order.

Thanks so much to Will for paying attention to the castle community!!

Thanks again to all for the specific feedback on the Cimmerian PickAxe!

After a long absence, i shall finally post again and i choose to do so here........I have but one question, why havent we had these sooner. These are amazing. The plugin design is very effective for things i would like to do in some of my mocs. I love them all, will they be available in trans colors? (yes I will sell my soul for trans colored bricks and weps)

Hi
New to this forum and post was one of the firsts that came up that I had to reply to :)
These are really great, especially:

Halberd, Cimmerian PickAxe, Havoc Blade.
The Cimmerian pickaxe is my favorite, that is something that I could need for my minifig heros. The Havoc blade like somebody here already said is abit short but it looks great pole mounted. I would approve of these :D and would like to see them and more of castle themed customs.

That's definitely an option! Will has all BrickArms production molds polished so that should he decide to run any in trans colors, the resulting parts are crystal clear. I'm a fan of edged weaponry in trans colors as well, and while it's a bit early to discuss colors, they're certainly something Will could decide to produce!

I like them all very much. I will have to buy them, even if funding them means nefarious or immoral or degrading acts unspeakable on a family oriented board. 8)

Glad you like them! Unfortunately, it's impossible to say exactly when they'll be available. Will is still in the process of developing them (along with several other projects), and I'll be certain to keep the CC community updated with any new developments about these BrickArms accessories!

Oh, got it. Thanks! :) It would be great if BrickArms made some more sword/axe/close-quarters weapons.

New Crate from BrickArms

Post by the enigma that is badger »

Not specifically Castle-themed, but something that Castle builders might find useful in a number of ways: the new Crate from BrickArms!

Image

The crate is 2x6, stackable, and attaches securely to any build. The lid can also be attached to studs in a variety of ways and fits firmly on but is easily removed from the crate. The BrickArms Crate is now available from all official BrickArms resellers.

Will was kind enough to send me a few of the new Crates, and here's some shots I took of it in action:
