^^ You think if they did the beer maid, they'd make the Princess Leia hairdo in blonde?

I have a couple that I would like to see.

1. US Cavalryman. This would be basically a return of the figure from the Wild West sets.
2. WWII US soldier. This would use the Toy Tory helmet but in more realistic colors. (I know Lego has a "no war" policy, but I think a single collectible figure, not a set, could not be seen as "promoting" war or war-play, and would not in any way be controversial)

I think the only way I could see something like this happening was if it was more along the lines of a comedy drill instructor, with shouting face and baton rather than any type of modern weapon. IMO.

I've added the new suggestions to my master list as "US Cavalryman" and "WW2 soldier/Drill sergeant."

We need more Eastern figures. Think Persians, Ottomans, and basically any Arab.

I second this. In particular, we could use a guy in Arab dress of the long white robes and the headress/Kafiyeh that hangs straight down with a cord tied around the head to keep it on. The kind that you typically see on Saudi Arabian men, or like the checkered one Yassir Arafat always wore. It is very different from the bulkier head-wrap style that was in the POP sets, and would be very useful for mid-east bazaar, and crusader-era castle scenes.

I haven't seen this posted/discussed around here so will mention it. This chap has posted his portfolio application for a design job at LEGO on his blog
http://alexandreboudonbillund2010.blogs ... -post.html
As well as being an excellent designer (and I'm guessing he got the job) we can see from the following picture that a number of his designs have already become reality within the CMF range. What will be next??

His ideas come from BEFORE the CMF theme came out and people started guessing what might come next, if that's what you're wondering. I hope versions of the Sea Captain and Caesar figs appear in future series though.

He has done some great designs for minifigures. I'd really like to see his sketches for the medieval woman with the mirror, the town crier with the golden chicken on the staff, Caesar, The evil queen and his version of Marie Antoinette all made into figures.

I'd also like to see his designs for a mythology line made into reality.

I haven't seen these figures mentioned. [or I didn't read the list]
I'd really like to see ---

a rat catcher - tall black hat, black clothes with a net or sack and 2 rats. one crouching, one standing
crazy cat woman
Phantom of the opera
Tv reporter - with microphone and video camera.
a dog walker maybe with a dalmation instead of the regular brown dog.
a banshee
Swiss mountain climber with pick axe or stick, backpack and rope. [think of someone wearing a backpack, wearing pants with braces with a feather in his hat and yodeling]
milk maid - White dress white mop cap like the surgeons and carrying a bucket.
and a centaur. :D
