60. No. Painting elements is only allowed in the custom figure categories.

Ah, dang it! Looks like I'll just have to settle for a brown horse :?. But hold on a sec. I'm allowed two entries, right ? Right! :sly: Second entry coming up!

I'm behind on updating the naughty list, but both of those link to galleries with over3 images.

Yesterday I submitted an entry for the wooden castle category, and two entries each for the fantasy and realistic custom figs.
Today I see the custom figs entries, but not the wooden castle. It might have something to do with the max-3-pics-rule.

I put 6 pics of the castle on flickr, with the intent to enter only 3 of them in the submission form, but publishing more for any visitor who might want to see more than 3. When I saw I could only enter 1 in the submission form, instead of the expected 3, I thought oh well, that's OK. I interpreted the link as a service to those who wanted to see more than the 3 - now 1 picture, not as a link the the only 3 pics submitted. Of course, being able to enter only 1 link to a picture should've raised the alarm bell with me, but it didn't.

Only today when I saw no entry, I started to worry that I misinterpreted the situation and have done something wrong. In order to fix it and make clear which 3 pictures where meant to enter the contest, I removed the other 3 from the flickr set, while leaving them in my photostream.

Yes. If you checked the naughty list thread, you'd see that you are listed under 'too many images'. Your link should be to a flickr set that has no more than three pictures. It's fine to link to just one image, if you only want the judges to consider your MOC based on one. Please fix the link and PM either me or Ben.

Oh, and a general suggestion to everyone - there are currently 51 pending submissions, about half of which are already on the naughty list and the others yet to be moderated. Probably by sometime tomorrow the finalized naughty list will be posted, and then those people will have a few days grace period to fix their entries. So if you submitted something late yesterday, just have a little patience with us.

Hi all,
I'd like to suggest a change to be done in the CCC organisation next year. Before I started building for the contest my microscale MOCs, I wanted to make sure if such a scale is permitted. The "Rules and information" website provided me no info about this, so it was clear to me that I can build it any scale. I thought that if there were any information about this, it would be there. But when I submitted the work, and then second one, both were moved to Misc. and the information I had searched for turned out to be written here, in this topic.
Of course neither do I think it's unfair of the Admins to move microscale works having announced the rule at the forum, nor I want to excuse my misunderstanding. I'd just like you to pay a bit more attention to where the rules can be found, as I think I'm not the only one who didn't find them in the forum. Wouldn't it be best to gather the most important points in one list and place it at the website, where other information (like how many photos, how big photos, shipping prizes etc.) can be found, or at least add a link to the Q&A thread ("More information about the rules can be found here: .....").
Hope this may help you,
Toltomeja

Really stupid question - I submitted a creation the other day which is not appearing in the entries, so I'm assuming I"m on the naughty list - (this is where it gets really stupid) where is the naughty list? I can't find the naughty list! sorry to be a bother...

The naughty list:

On an entirely different note, does your username come from the Looney Toons cartoon?

Definitely stole the name from loony toons! :D

Second Question - how do I resubmit once I've fixed my naughty list infraction?
