My Trip To the Mall

Postby friskywhiskers » Mon Dec 26, 2011 8:02 pm

Well today I went to palisades mall and after Grabbing some clothes I nonchalantly made my way to the lego store. I got:

The blue dots for and biege bricks for a CCC entry and the grass and windows just to fill the container. I also got:

After toying with the idea of keeping it sealed to sell once LOTR came out, My inner- Child-on-the-day-after-christmas came out and I built it  .

Wow, I would have grabbed a whole cup full of those windows. They're pretty expensive on bricklink, especially with the lattices. Nice grab!

Also, that little value pack set is great! We have them at Target for about $3.50 here, and I now own about 20 copies of it. You can't get a better value, in my opinion. :)

Well , I went out to to target to see if I could get a copy of Outpost attack but they were sold out. I'm not too unhappy though because *drum-roll*...... I got ten more of those polybags for $1.04 each!!! To put it simply that's:

10 minifigs
10 targets, maybe good for an archery range
20 apples and chicken legs
20 crates and spears
and 10 foliage pieces and green plates for trees and landscaping!

All for only $11.00!!! It's a shame they only had 10  . If they were fully stocked I would have gotten 30!

Yep, I think everyone is going to be so jealous. they'll delete my account  . I'm gonna go back on Sunday and see if they have more, maybe put some up for sale at $2 here. This has sparked my interest in kingdoms and I'm trying to get more; check out this thread: http://www.classic-castle.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=21459
