CCC IX Enchanted Waters

Post by jovian »

It's been quite a while since I've posted anything here ( and quite a while since I've built, period). Anyway, here's my entry for the Hidden Treasure category, called Enchanted Waters:

Enchanted waters 05 by :jovian:, on Flickr

Basically a scene showing a wizard parting enchanted waters to reveal a hidden vial, containing the dreaded Draught of Undying. Evil forces seek the elixir, and it's safety must be ensured...

Thanks for looking,

jovian

Very cool idea, and brilliantly executed. I'm just kind of in shock by this.
You would rather be building right now.

WHAT? That is magnificent water shaping, so beautifully and effectively done. Also the shading is beautiful as well.

Great lighting on that last picture! That was all it needed to see the magic in the bricks.

I have to say, I thought my "hidden treasure" entry had one of the best executions of water..... until I saw this! Man, this is awesome!

In the building blitz of the CCC, I missed this when it was initially posted. I'm glad I found the thread for it and can give you a bump :)

The only comment I have in the negative is that, for an item that needs to be so carefully protected, don't you think they'd put it in water that's deeper than a kiddie pool? :tasty:

Keep up the good... no, EXCELLENT, work!
