Minfigure Series 6 US release date?

Has anybody seen the series 6 minifigures around yet? I went to Toys r us and Walmart here in Lafayette LA this afternoon Janurary 1st. No series 6 but LOTS of series 5. Should I buy up alot of series 5 to resell or trade later? Do places like Walmart and Toys r us put the series on sale when a new one comes out? Thanks Was wondering whether to wait until they were like $1 and buy them all up since not too many people are buying them at these places.

Actually I just looked on wikipedia and it says January 9th is the US release date. Guess that's the date, though wikipedia isn't exactly reliable 100% lol

Yes, Jan 9th. If ever in doubt check the new Lego Cat. for such dates and full set of photos in case you didnt check em out already
