Hey all,
Does anyone have these?
If you don't have them, don't buy them. My sister in law gave these to my kids for Christmas, and they're pretty horrid. There's nothing LEGO about them at all except for a sticker on the front with a picture of studs and a LEGO logo. Otherwise they're just a cheap pair of kids' walkie talkies, that certainly should cost less than the $37 that Amazon is paying for them. If LEGO simply has to produce things like this, why not at least put studs along one side, so kids can personalize them with bricks?

Sold yours to Amazon yet?Bruce N H wrote:certainly should cost less than the $37 that Amazon is paying for them
But seriously: Aren't they produced by someone else and just branded LEGO? I wouldn't be surprised if you could buy the exact same ones without the LEGO sticker/logo.

Re: LEGO Walkie Talkies - junk
The lack of studs on a "LEGO" branded product is criminal. There certainly seems to be an outsourcing trend recently with TLC - remember that LEGO camera a little while back? As I recall punters were less than impressed for similar reasons, and at 50$ for a 3MP camera, one would expect more... at least it has studs.
The greatest insult here, in my humble opinion, is that many fans feel that LEGO's greatest strength has always been quality, and to see that bar drop is a little sad.
