Is the avatar funtion off at this board? I don't see any avatars on the forums. I thought that would be nice, but maybe you've decided to turn it off because of loading speed. Maybe I missed the complete discussion about that.
Also, my signature doesn't show up, but I see others have a signature so I'm probably doing something wrong, I'll find out

Avatars were turned off by default. I have turned them on, but there are currently none in the gallery to choose from. We will have to work on this.
In the mean time, you can link to an offsite avatar or upload your own. Please keep it tasteful, otherwise i'll have to disable this ability.

Just wait untill people post hundreds of messages, and you want to find your own message in a thread, then you'll find it very useful.David Girard wrote:The presence of avatar is not very useful, unless to charge a lot the system, and to slow computer.
I think the site is nice as it is. Simple and effective.
But, it's not my call
But I like avatars.

That is the error given to me when I attempt to upload an avatar. It is the permissions to there specific files and folders that won't allow me and anyone else to upload avatars.Warning: copy(./images/avatars/7818113023f7301e4cf884.jpg): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/cc/public_html/forum/includes/usercp_avatar.php on line 227

I had that problem a long time ago when I used phpBB and I believe I went to those folders and CHMOD everything to 777.
Oh, and I linked my avatar off-site and it is not there in my posts.
I like Cup Ramen! What I like even more is the Ramen from the Ichiraku that Iruka Sensei bought me. What I dislike is waiting the three minutes for the Cup Ramen to cook. My hobby is eating lots of Cup Ramen!

I'll look into these errors and see what I can determine.
