It's raining cheap series 5's at Wal-Mart!

Post by Life_Unscripted »

Just went to Walmart and apparently where I live collectable minifigures didnt do so hot. They had 7 boxes out for 50% off lol I felt them for about an hour and got a big pile of dwarves, gladiators and gangsters. Maybe your local walmart is selling for that much too. They didnt get the upcoming series 6 yet though. They said they have sold alot of Megabloks Halo ones though o.o

Lucky you! My Walmart hasn't had any minifigures for months  when they do have them it is usually just one box, the most I have ever seen is 2 boxes.

They had a ton (5 or so boxes) at a Walmart in Las Vegas. All marked clearance at $2.97...

Haven't been able to find any series 6 for less than the TRU $3.49...

I was lucky enough to stumble on a very small pile of S6 at Fred Meyer yesterday and picked up 3 minotaurs for $2.99 each and then found a 10% off coupon so that covered the sales tax :)

We are in the process of moving to a new apartment, so I posed them on their stands and set them up in various parts of the apt for my wife to find as she unpacks :sly:

Where did you find the 10% off upon?
I didn't even THINK to check fredmeyers. All the ones in Oregon I checked had nothing. Maybe the one over the river will be full of what I need...Thanx for that. =)

I just thumbed thru the flier at the front of the store once I knew I was going to buy the figs. It was a "10% all Home" coupon, which applies to almost everything. Sometimes you can stack them if they have a % off coupon for toys too, as there is almost always a 10% home coupon, it seems like.

Don't get your hopes up too much though. There were only about 25 bags of S6 and they were just in a pile on an empty spot on the Lego shelf. Not much inventory right now unless you want Ninjago or POTC

:( I went to Walmart tonight to score all of their dwarves and Gladiators and they moved all the 50% off toys. So I found the clearance, but not the minifigs. Well finally after grocery shopping I found them on a table right at the front door for regular price. Greeter lady said that they said no more 50% off, and I wasnt about to sit there checking dot codes through 5 boxes of minifigs right at the main entrance lol So bleh... Oh well... Maybe they will go back to 50%

Actually they had about 8 open boxes on the shelf, and a ton more on the top unopened. I scored a butcher, Mechanic, Genie and, 2 Minotaurs. Gonna go back for more in a week or so. I forgot to check the coupons though.
