I'd like to see more instruments. From any period of time really, from the ancients to present day. Along with that, I wish LEGO would release a sallet styled helmet.

Ditto on the instruments.

Here are a couple of parts that would make it easier to create small-scale constructions:

1. A modified 1 x 1 round plate with a stud on the bottom as well as the top. Something like the O-clip on this piece all by itself.

2. A similar piece with a stud receptacle on both sides--perhaps a little hoop just large and thick enough to take a stud in each end so that they meet in the middle.

More animals. most have been mentioned but..
I'd like to see the parrots made in yellow and blue. Sitting cats, a new bird like a raven. Wolves, Lions, tigers any big cats.
And I still want a donkey.

also a Santa hat would be great [red with a white pompom] and that Santas elf hat with ears that's been on the posters.

How about a spherical variation on the standard gemstone? Same approximate size, same color palette, same extension on the bottom for insertion into another piece, only the main body of the gem is a round orb? That would be great for wizard staffs and mystic treasures.

Yea that would be great variation, I could find use for that too. :tasty:
More animals, TLG could do similar sets for standard Lego as they have for Duplo, zoo with all kinds of diffrent animals. A zoo for the City theme would be good.

Inverted cheese slope, trying to figure out how that looks and what to use it for  :D

You know, I'm surprised Lego has never made a Zoo or circus before...

I'd like to see a male/female lions, or maybe a sphinx, or a Medeusa. This is just a few, as this list could go on the more time I spend thinking about it, or if I open a Monster Manual...

They didn't, but there is something very similar - the circus idea was released in 1980's Lego Idea Book (no. 6000). .

It'd be like the current cheese slope, but with a stud on the bottom rather than a hole. It'd be useful for lots of stuff, like rockwork, decoratioins on stonework, and more.

I agree that a reverse cheese-slope would be good--but it would be awesome if the stud were hollow, allowing bars to hold it. The versatility would be greatly heightened.

Zoo sets with animals would be too ethically iffy for TLG IMO - but the new and previous dino ranges are close enough.
