Crazy Medieval Fact
Jousting on ice, according to this episode of the UK kid's show Horrible Histories, English peasants made skates from animal bone and jousted on the frozen river Themes. I can't find much to support it online though, but it inspired me to build this simple diorama.

Nice, I like the action with the capes flying in the wind and the expressions you chose are perfect. Maybe this is where hockey gets its roots.

Very nice. In particular, the use of the tattered-sticker classic shield for a battered wooden toy caught my eye as an excellently appropriate piece-use.

Thanks all, I have been looking for a subject to build a series of vignettes as a side project and "Crazy Medieval Facts" suits perfectly 
I may yet mod this build slightly with a forced perspective background. We'll see how I go.
