I just finished putting together the Hillside House, which I received for an Xmas gift. I thought the sound brick was a really neat touch (although I'm not sure I like the dog barking after the bell).
I would like to request that Lego make more of these. Some suggestions for sounds:
-Church Bells
-Animal Sounds (for a farm set)
-Foghorn (should have been in the lighthouse set)

I love the sound brick that came in the Grand Carosel. It would be cool if there were some way to record our own sound to the sound brick.

I particularly love that sound brick from that Agents set with the big fence that the car rams through, and an alarm sounds. That one is so cool.
But I definitely agree, more sound bricks would be aeswionme, animal sounds and fog horn would be great. The one from the Grand Carousel set is indeed also a really cool one, though if I hear it once I can't get that melody out of my head for days.

Re: More Sound Bricks Please
Here's an idea that shouldn't be too hard to develop if the LEGO group wants to.
Have a programable sound brick that you can add whatever sounds you want to. Either from a limited library (online or on an accompanying CD) or from your own computer. Basically you have a brick with a small built in flash drive that you connect to your computer via a USB adapter to download the sound, or sounds onto. This could also be applied to programmable lights that turn on and off or flash in programable sequences.

That sounds simple. I think that they'd be fairly successful, but possibly expensive. The lego robotics are the only programmable bricks so far, and they were pricey.
