Legend of Zelda master sword request!

Post by klorox »

I was wondering if anyone already makes custom molded master swords from the legend of zelda. and if so, could someone please tell me where I could find one? if not, could maybe brickarms or brickforge possibly create one? :?

thanks.

I'm not really sure what a master sword is, if you would post a pic I might be able to help :)

Hi, I know there's a Flickr user that makes a bunch of Zelda stuff, here's a link(no pun intended) to M1NGLES' photo stream http://www.flickr.com/photos/60858662@N07/

sorry, but I can't think of any thing. you might want to try brickforge they have a nice selection of swords, or possibly brickworriors.

The sword from Heroica series is a close mold to what a master sword would be, just needs a paint job

It would also need to be 4x bigger than it currently is. The Heroica sword works much better for the starter blade of most Legend of Zelda titles, but it could never work for a Master Sword, being that the latter is nearly 5 feet long in some titles.

well, in theory a minifig scaled to human size is around what 6foot tall at a 1/48 scale. The sword is 1" long so at at minifig scale it would theoretically be 4 feet long. By most comparisons of the blade and body size of Link, I would say a 4 foot blade is relatively accurate for the Master Sword. In the Game OoT, the photo of adult Link holding the Master Sword with it lowered to the ground and holding his shield, I would say a 4 foot blade is a pretty good representation, BUT that i suppose does depend on which Zelda game you are wanting to mimic as there are more than enough discrepancies to say that we are all wrong and all right at the same time.

So figure out which game you wanna work off of, and then you can figure out if you wanna go with a custom sword or one that is easily available that just needs a paintjob

There is also a flickr group devoted to Lego Legend of Zelda here. There are some more examples of custom masterswords there.
You would rather be building right now.
