Maybe! I've never done landscape or the outsides of buildings, before. I'd like to, but I'm nervous. Also, I worry about being asked to commit to too much, since I have real world responsibilities (like most, if not all, of us).

I'm kind of thinking desert would be fun. I have lots of desert-y colors just begging to finally get used. ;)

I wouldn't be too worried about having to "commit" too much. I think this is just going to be a fun thing, and if you don't have time to participate in every build challenge, no big deal. We would love to have someone with your creative skills involved as a part of this, even if it's not on a regular basis :)

I have both a Falcon and a Rebel army, complete with backstory and everything, so I'm pretty much ready to go! I am definately IN! :D

EDIT: My rebel army is an army centered around horses and horse mastery, so naturally they would occupy grassy plains, steppes and mountain valleys. The Falcons could be placed in any central-European type landscape, like forrests, mountains etc.

We'll need to have regions that can offer both, since I don't think we want to allow entries to come from multiple regions from the same person, in the name of competition.

I picked "Somewhat interested". I am 90% on-board but I just want to see some of the finer details worked out, e.g. What are the rules? What factions are included? How often are MOCs going to be expected?

I am committed with the GoH but I should be able to be involved in both.

I'd like to do something a bit different - either an Oriental mountain faction or a Mesoamerican swamp faction.

For those that are concerned on time constraints, I think we need to clarify or make known that no one is responsible to enter every time or have 50,000 bricks to build castles on a 216x216 baseplate. I think what worked well over in GoH, is that each faction has many members, so if some don't compete in a certain challenge, there are others in that same faction that still do. Also, I think that for build challenges they should be on a smaller scale that allows all to compete, and the free builds/story building(city building) can be any size and submitted at any time. As far as how often, so far on GoH they are going with about 1 challenge every 2 months. That gives everyone time to build, plan and play around with other stuff and deal with Real Life!

Exactly what I was thinking. I've been a Mitgardian for only a couple of days and I already like the relaxed flow of things.

Not trying to boss you around, but maybe posts like this belong in the discussion thread, (though)...

Count me in, this sounds really neat. I could build in mountains, grasslands, or arctic landscapes.
You would rather be building right now.

Probably! I was just trying to give a quick response to a couple of folks who were concerned about time restraints....but I got long-winded!

I voted Maybe Interested, and have no clue where I would like to build. I guess I would wait for some more descriptions of the fractions.

So far we have 20 people who most likely will participate, and 3 who might. I'll update the first post with more details to see if we can drum up some more interest :)
