I don't know, maybe so that people will not be as spread out. Other factions might be added later, when more members join.

Also keep in mind that the map chosen will have to be tweaked later to completely fit with all the other details. The map should be finalized made after the lore.

There are actually 4, he just forgot to include the last one (blame wobnam) They're still in, but we've decided to merge the "Gold" faction (fright knights, shadow knights) with the rebel faction.
They need swampland and a remote island still
