Mencot - I love that illustration! great work.

Here is an update to my idea, the map is the one I submitted, butt hat is only because it is the one I have handy. Any map chosen can be placed there:

Wow, these are really fun ideas. I love the calligraphy of the first one, the two battling figures in Mencot's and the idea of the map in the background from Shmails. All are terrific concepts! It's cool to see how artistic some of the people on this forum are!

What'd make "the perfect logo" to me: Combine the three!

Yeah if there was a way to combine the calligraphy with the two battling figures with the logo and map in the background, that would be epic.

Just give Shmails or someone with the same talents as that guy, a few minutes and I think he can put something great toughter

Oh yes I will just get out my wand and a few potions and have something whipped up in a smidge! After tonight I will be away from my computer for at least three or four days (renovating a house is a real pain!), but I can sketch something up and jump on it when i get back. The calligraphy may be tough to combine with the map, but I can give it a shot!

I can add shadows and more detail to the figs, I just wanted to get some feedback before I proceed. The "LCC" in the center shield was simplified to make it more readable, if you want something closer to the original (with the heads and curly details) I can do that, it will just take a while to get right. I will also redo the map once it has been finalized.

Whoa that is perfect I knew we can count on you shmails
The figs:Yea so shadows and more details on the figs but not so much (so that they are still a bit similiar to the mine )
The LCC in center: thats good, some thing could be added but I like that so far
Maybe put an additional banner under it all with the text I had: "A LEGO BASED MOC FANTASY" or something else that would work

The second banner wasn't ment to be an explanation, more like a cool announcement
But of ofcourse the logo is total awsome already :p

tomorrow Shmails will be back if he hasn't had any time to follow the project he will be very suprised how much have happened in a few days .
This project is soon about to start have you members of the committee been in touch with the cc admins if and when we are gonna get so frontpage time .
Hopefuly Shmails has the logo finished altough it was great already the last he posted
