Re: Beyond the lake
Hey Zac, great to see you on CC!
First of all, it is an excellent creation! I love the landscaping with the snow and you did an amazing job with the tower. I would've liked to have seen something done to remove the monotony of the water, but it looks fine. You have lots of great details and I really like the Roman atmosphere.

Re: Beyond the lake
Nice work. The snow on the tree and bush and the plants growing out of the water are my favorite parts. The only criticism I would offer is about your photography. I've been finding that more than anything more light is better. I try to get the lighting to look good, then double it. It makes fine detail easier to see.
Lego Stu doesn't advertise.
Re: Beyond the lake
Using the claws embedded into the tree for snow is quite brilliant!

Ru Corder (Jacks100) used that technique first, with plumes.jovian wrote:Using the claws embedded into the tree for snow is quite brilliant!

Thanks for pointing that out, as I don't have time to keep up with each technique usage.Medieval Guy wrote:Ru Corder (Jacks100) used that technique first, with plumes.
I still think the claws give a cleaner, layered snow effect.
