Earth Elemental Dragon

Post by jovian »

Here's an elemental dragon I whipped up for Siercon and Coral's dragon contest:

A mage rides above the forest on a conjured elemental dragon. A burning glyph of conjuring maintains the dragon's form and allows the summoner to control it's flight. Great concentration is required lest the beast fall apart in mid air.

Because magic is cool...

The part I actually noticed first, was the roots on the tree. Love the convex arch on them. Well done!

Very cool Neat way to build a neck/tail that articulates, and as mentioned already, the tree is to die for :)

Wow, very nice dragon. Good job using all of those plant parts on him. The head and wings are particularily well constructed.
You would rather be building right now.

Impressively done! There is so much to like about this that I don't know where to start... The wings made out of the palm branches are incredible, the neck and tail are extremely awesome with the palm tree sections (even practical for posing). I must say, if I were to have a dragon, I would want one like this!

Thanks a bunch everyone! I'm happy with how the dragon turned out, but am honestly more satisfied with the tree.

If only I had the parts to make a small forest of them.

Thanks again!
