Very nice job! I recommend using two headlight bricks with a tile to make an uneven stone instead of tan and DBG bricks to add texture, but it's fine as it is. :) Welcome to CC, BTW!

Good job on this and welcome to CC. I think the mottling is fine, you certainly don't have to use headlight bricks to get a good effect, and there are terrific examples of this in other creations. Good interior detailing too!
You would rather be building right now.

Pretty good for your first try! I like that you include landscaping with a river, nice floor designs as well.

I like castle and the bridge. one thing I would maybe change, is the stream. At first, I hardly even noticed it. Add a little more blue to it, maybe just underneath the transparent tiles. Completely up to you of course, I just like my streams to be that LEGO blue we all know and love.

Thanks! Yeah I wasn't planning on doing a stream so when I made the base I didn't add any blue pieces where the stream is. Thanks again! :)
