Introducing my character for LCC, the grizzled fur trader, Rayth Wulfsbayne

Image

In the northern reaches of Roawia lives a fur trader by the name of Rayth Wulfsbayne. Grizzled and resourceful, he is an expert at wilderness survival, and he and his team of sturdy Beardogs are able to glide noiselessly though the treacherous arctic terrain though even the nastiest of storms. An expert hunter, he wields bow and blade with surgical precision. Because of his unique skill set, his services as a guide and bodyguard are often sought after by southern traders who know little of the wildernesses of Garheim, and the menaces that stalk its snow-covered woods at night.

I really like your sled and snowscaping! The irregular base
really sets it off well. Keep up the good work!

Nice job on this, AK. These two creations show off your character really well, and that sled is terrific.
You would rather be building right now.

Love the snow in the trees. Another good part for snow would be the islanders plume.

Thanks for the compliments, everyone!

It actually turns out that (by accident) I finished this on the opening weekend of the Iditarod dog sled race that takes place in Alaska every year. It is a 1,049 mile-long trek that commemorates the serum run to Nome that saved the town from a diphtheria epidemic. (I'm sure many of you have heard the story of "Balto" the dog)
Anyway, my dad actually helped start the race and participated in the first couple of them. If you're interested in the subject, just google "Rod Perry Trailbreakers" and you'll find his website. He runs a neat blog with some really cool Alaskan stories on it.

On, Garheim!
