Some questions about 10223 Kingdoms Joust

Post by Knight Man »

As I sadly don't own this awesome set and probably won't be able to purchase it for a few years  I have some questions. Does anyone have a picture of the Black Falcon Knight torso, does the Queen have brown hair, and are the green flags the same as the Dragon Knights use? I might think up some more later :D .

Ok, thanks I didn't know that Bricklink had parts inventory, I thought that Peeron was the only one. Cheap Lego used the Dragon Knight torso :o .

I wondered why they did this when I saw the release photos. Assuming she is meant to be the same Lion Kingdoms Queen, then why they hair change? Unless the previous one was beheaded and the King replaced her with an almost identical younger model? The intrigue of the Lego world.
Less talking, more MOCing.

It's the same thing with music album re-releases, I think - even if a little thing is different, some people would buy it for the unique part / fig. Even if it's only a few extra people that will buy it, it's a small effort for Lego to change the colour. The Falcon dude is another unique guy put in there to convince people to buy a large set. It could also be they're just being nice and giving you more customization options for a horde of Queens. It's either that or simply inattentiveness :roflol:

Just look them up through the BL set inventory. Find the part you want and click on the pricing guide. That's what someone else would have to do to find that out, and it's something you'll need to learn if you're going to ever buy Lego on the secondary market. :)
