I agree that Teherean is a good candidate for the position. You've got my vote.

What do you think, Albatross_Viking, DNL, jimbo87 and theboywarrior? Could you respond before friday?
Since I was technically the one who nominated Teherean, it shouldn't be hard to guess were I stand.

Well by a fast count it seams that Teherean is going to be our FO (only theboywarrior hasn't voted yet, so I think it's safe to say it right?). Congratulations lord Teherean!

Now on for the glory of Lenfald! That our boats may be swift but our arrows even swifter! That they may hear the roar of our Dragon Knights and shiver by the thought of our longbow! On for victory and honor!

Indeed, it seems I have been chosen to be FO. If this is the will of the mighty Lenfald People, so be it, I gladly accept the title! Thank you everyone, for your votes and confidence. :halo:

On to more serious matters.

First and foremost: I will soon send everyone I think would fit the title of FL a PM. I want to give everyone, new or long standing member, an equal opportunity. It will be an important position with a lot of responisbility, especially in this faction!

Second: I have a general idea of how I'm going to oversee this faction, but I would like to know what your expectations of me are. It will help me plan and prepare better. Don't feel shy, anything can be discussed. Please, make sure you do it in the discussion thread though! I'll check it often to see what you guys think.

Last: Have fun! Build stuff! Join the competitions! :D

Again, thanks everyone!

- Marijn, a.k.a. Teherean

For the Glory of Lenfald! Down with the weak half-king and his Loreos minions!

P.M. I usually hang around the chatroom at night, it's pretty rad so come and check that out too. There's a LCC room. :)

Shouldn't we discuss what we expect of our own faction overseer in our own topic? I just read (actually spied on 8) ) the other factions, and the ones who've chosen a faction overseer discussed it in their own topic. I think it would be more central if we discussed things in here than where all other faction can join in and 'ruin' our discussion... But if not I'll post my expectations in the discussion thread

If you want to discuss what your FO specifically will be expected to do for Lenfald, you can keep that discussion here. If you'd like to discuss the roles of FO in general, for all factions, then please post in the general discussion thread.
Thanks for trying to stay on track :)

Thanks Ak :)
Now my thoughts on the matter are as follows
I really appreciate it when (at least on GoH) the leader takes time to comments on builds from his group.
I like it when they set up contests/post reminders of current contest deadlines and give feedback on contest entries via pm if requested
That is all I can think of off the top of my head, if I think of other stuff I will add it to this post.

Basically, as long as there is an organized list of events so that I know what is going on, I'll be happy. I also like what soccerkid said. Also, our MOCs need to maake sense together. We can't have one MOC saying that we're at war with Loreos and another saying we're at peace! Any ideas on how we can coordinate this?

Oooh now look who's spying! Back to you rock Garhim-scum! No just kidding AK, thanks for listening in and he clearly asked what we expected of him as faction overseer, and since he is chosen as Lenfald FO I think we should post it here.

And to start of; I would like to see Lenfald properly represented in challenges to come, as in a coherent and logical background. I know this is mainly decided with the beginning of the factions but I assume there will be challenges which need to tell a story as to progress the game. Also I hope we'll get transparency in challenges and proper score-keeping. And I hope you'll listen to us when we have ideas to bring Lenfald to another level of some sorts :D I understand that you will probably not be able to do this in the beginning but I'm sure you're FL will be able to keep up.

But I've got a lot of faith in you, since you're actually the one who started all of this and probably already had a few ideas to begin with.

thanks for being our FO (and I must say I'm proud to have a South-Dutchman presenting us, woohoo!)

You three summed up what I had in mind as well.

A proper administration of who is member of Lenfald and with wich status/scored points etc so that we all can see how we're doing.
Hosting challenges including announcements and, if necessary, reminders.
Actively encouring other Lenfels to come up with a challenge - or enter other ideas and contributions.
Adding honest comments when judging, so that we can learn and grow better moccers. When not judging, I'd appreciate those comments too.
Keeping organisational matters and information well-ordered, clear and compact.

And I hope it isn't necessary, but if so, that you won't hesitate to correct us if we are way out of bounds.

Now there's a land to build from scratch. Let's do that!

Yeah I would like that to, like they sometimes do with tv-series, before they begin they kinda showed what happened the last episode. We could keep like a list with things that happened in Roawia. Wait scratch this, I'll post it in the discussion thread as well. Moderators see fit to delete this if it's not fit for this topic

Hey guys. Just want to make sure you aren't feeling left out, now that the other 3 factions have their permanent threads up.
I did send the code and instructions for the permanent thread to Teherean, but he may be away for a while. Who's the FL here? Do you want me to send you the code, or would you rather just wait to see if Teherean comes back in the next day or two to post it himself. Reply here and I'll check back often.
Thanks :)
