FACTION INFO

Not a united faction but rather a term for anyone not part of any of the three Provinces, the Outlaws consist on innumerable groups, clans and tribes of thieves, bandits, rebels and other outcasts as well as those openly practicing magic and beings of magic origins. Outlaws are found all over Roawia, but they are said to gather in the unclaimed southern lands, especially the mountain area called The Shade and the Magic Island in the east sea.

The Outlaws' style in building as well as combat varies, somewhat depending on their location.


LEADERSHIP

long ago when the Outlaw first came to the magic island it appeared to be uninhabited, but after some time one the isle hunting parties and patrols that traveled to the center of the island stopped coming back, until finally many weeks after he had left a lone survivor of a group of trappers returned he brought with him a terrible tale of a ancient fortress and its dark ruler, Karain the shadow!He also brought a message, Karain would allow them to stay if they would submit to his rule, some of the Outlaws agreed to this and chose to stay but many decided they would rather take there chances with the factions and returned to the main land, to this day few have seen him and even fewer have lived to tell about it for he has not left his castle in living memory. there is a legend that he was put there to stop some greater evil, but the truth of this no one knows.....

As Faction Liaison, it is my job to assist the Faction Overseer and the members in whatever way may need me. If you have a question or would like to host a contest, please feel free to PM me. I am here strictly to help the FO and you as much as possible. Otherwise, I am just a normal member so feel free to ask any questions you have.

To-Do List
Once you have joined the Outlaws, it is imperative that you build a CIC (Character Introductory Challenge). This will start your character's journey in the LCC and allow him to gather points from local contests or global contests. For more info on the CIC, refer to this thread.

Local and Global challenges will be announced in this thread. These challenges are a way to gain points for your character and your team. These are not mandatory, but will greatly benefit the participant. Be sure to keep checking back every so often so you don't miss it!

I am sorry I have been absent the last week... I teach many classes and it is midterms time, so a lot of grading. However, Harald's men are almost all here, so soon I should have my introduction MOC, and I should be able to put together a response to the first faction challenge. Good to see we are up to 11 members though!

I'm glad to here that! I'm working on my submission too, but had to just write a 3 page paper for a midterm. Anyway when ever anyone gets a chance it'd be good to get some new input on the map naming.

The introduction also tells a lot about where my guy is (so I'll wait with the map update until after I post my introduction), and how he became the outlaw he is. Would it be alright to use that last part of the CIC challenge for the "What are you in for?" challenge, as it describes how he became an outlaw?

Indeed it is! I talked with our benevolent FO, and we agreed that we would hold this contest periodically for the newer members as they come. If you guys miss it this round through, it'll come again in a couple months.

I don't see that being a problem. I would wait for a more knowledgeable leader than I to answer though.

the king council has discussed this and we decided that it ok for the local challenges, but not for the larger global challenges.

The 5 is your personal status score. You earned those points by completing the CIC. Others have 0 points and no rank because they have yet to complete the CIC.
