Brick-built horses

I saw a few brick built horses some where, and decided i could do that, so here they are, please tell me which is the best and which could be improved and what you like/dislike.


And I originally found the original idea after hours trawling the web, but never found it again, but thanks to foot steps he pointed it out, if you wish to see the originals, with poses and colours and instructions they can be found here-

Very cool brick-built horses is there any way you could use the lego saddle?

yes i could, but they look to out of proportion.

Those are really cool!

I prefer the gray and white ones, but the black one is perfectly fine, and I think you should keep that one as well. One of the neat things in using bricks is that you can deliberately make little variations like these to help diversify the look of your cavalry.

I like the middle ones best. Perhaps you should think of some way of putting eyes in there though, it would remove the robotic feel. Unless you're going for mechanical robo-steeds with laser eyes of course, which is completely fine with me

Nice use of newer pieces for the head. Adds more character.

Here's the "original" design. Is anything ever original in Lego? My horse designed was inspired by early photos of the skeleton horse -- which I thought was going to be articulated.

I like how brick-built horses allow for different colours, poses and creativity.
