I'm not sure I like the black and red boar. I think a brown boar would make for better heraldry...

Brown on black wouldn't show up very well. The red also helps complete the evil look.

Great, this may be the best series yet, only 6 of them are worthless. Is that the Valkyrie I've been hoping for? :)

The Aztec Warrior has a cool pearl gold round shield, that will be useful

The Aztec Warrior looks absolutely gorgeous. That headdress! I'm disproportionately thrilled to see that the Viking chick has braids and the plaid on the Bagpiper makes me almost giddy. I may need professional help at this point.

Well I wasn't real clear, I know, but I wasn't thinking of brown on black. I was thinking that a better boar would be similar to the bull shields from several years ago, which I understand wouldn't go with this knight. So, I guess what I'm trying to get at is, I wish they'd used a different symbol on this shield and saved the boar for another faction later.

The only thing I really don't like about the boar knight is the lack of a torso print. Could have doubled up on them if they had one. Would have been cool to have a knight armor print similar to the Crown Gold Knight or the Lion Knight with the emblem on the center of the chest.

I agree. A torso print would have been nice. As a faction only the shield will tie the figures together. Not sure what would make a good torso for some generic soldiers from this same faction. The Knights decorated armor is nice but I can't see them looking good in large numbers together. The armor is too ornate for that.

Yes it is pretty lame that TLG didn`t make a torso printing on this guy. Considering that he has so many details on his armor and shield, one could have waited that his shirtarmor would be something special

We got the series 7 minifigs in our local tescos just before Easter. The Aztec, space marine and Neptune Ocean king figure all all easy to get with a bit of feeling through the bags, as they have parts easy to identify. On the next visit I managed to get the boar Knight and the Viking warrior queen.
(By the way, is it me or is the Viking queen much taller than the other figures. I know the wedge "dress" piece is one plate higher than the usual legs but it never seemed more pronounced than on this minifig though? It does make her stand out against my Viking faction.)

@ kevdragon,
I suspect it's the hat effect combined with the skirt/slope.

True, and it certainly makes her look magnificent. I also picked up another evil "boar" knight yesterday after a few bagfeels in a display in my local supermarket. Thinking of how that faction is going to develop. Going to play around with different helmets, the old Orc helmet looks goof on them and went for a fierce bearded face. I also got hold of the little red Riding hood figure, Changed her legs and face to a more grown up version and added a crossbow. "Red" Ridinghood- Wolfslayer!

Series 7 has not yet reared en masse in the United States yet, if at all. Series 5 still sits at many Walmart stores, and Toys R Us seems to be the only reliable source for Series 6, which they have many of still. It might not be until late May or June for us.

Target still has loads of Series 6 too. I wonder how long until they get out the new stuff. I also wonder, will Walmart ever get Series 6, or will they skip it?
