Hey! Signed up yesterday and have spent most of my time since swotting up on the ins and outs of LCC. I think I've got most of it, but maybe not.

Anyway, I had a suggestion. I gather we've already had one local challenge, but that its details have since been deleted from the original post, I thought it might be a good idea, as well as having the local challenge details up in the original post for the duration of the local challenge, to also post the details as a post in the thread, just so it's possible to keep tabs on what has gone on before.

Maybe once the local challenge was over, it might be beneficial to edit the post, to clearly say the challenge is now closed, so people don't make entries for it, having not realised.

---New Local Challenge---

Times have been good and we have brought in a lot of loot recently. Build a hiding place to store that loot, whether a cave, a hole, a ruin, or something like that!
NOTE: to give our members more time for the global challenge we encourage you to build small for this one, vigs and small scenes are fine.
Rules
-The deadline is the first of May, 5/1/12.
-Your entry must include your character in some way.
-With this challenge you get 2 points for entering and a extra 5 for wining.
-In order to enter you should post your entry in the MOCs forum and a link to it here.

I'm not a member of Flickr, so I can't post things on there, but I can post things here. Let's put a swamp in the island, shall we? Let's say many went there and never came back.
