LCC - Loreos LC3 - Attack On Bardurk

Postby LWC guy » Thu Apr 12, 2012 2:01 am

Hey guys! Here's my entry for the Loreos' third local challenge - defend the homeland.

This is my first time taking pictures outside with no backdrop, I like the way they turned out. :) Photo editing's overrated. I'm still practicing my SNOT rocks, so any advice in that area or on anything in this build is appreciated. :) Thanks!

Looking very good. This turned out great. The water looks nice but that waterfall is my favorite, also the cliffs look great. Great scene and great entry for the challange :D

Looks great! The rockwork works very well, the waterfall is nice too. Another great build :)

No, photo editing is NOT overrated. Honestly, if you had a white or professional backdrop (even something like a sheet), the presentation would greatly improve.

The build's solid though, I like the rocks and the layout of the castle. Great work!

Nicely done! I like the boats, although the mast is a bit...shoddy (best word I can come up with...). Nice 'fig posing and excellent rockwork. All in all, very good job. :D

The landscaping, especially the rockwork is beautiful!
You would rather be building right now.

I really enjoyed the rock work and waterfall on this one. In addition the "movement" of the minifigures in the battle was excellent. Very nice job. :D

Oh well, next time. This is larger than most of my creations, so I'd have some trouble taking pictures of it on the stuff I usually use. I didn't really want to spend a beautiful afternoon taking pictures in front of the hot lamps either. :) Thanks!

Wonderful creation. The rocks you made are fantastic. I wish I could make rocks like that. Mine are little pieces of flop.

Very nice, but could you tell me where Bardurk is located on the Loreos map?
