LCC - Garheim LC2- Claiming Land

Post by Athalus »

Image
Claiming land by Atahlus, on Flickr

"Fertile land is scarse in Garheim, and every bit of it is filled with rocks, making agriculture almost impossibe. Here we see some serfs who, with the help of their lord, are preparing the land for farming."

Small build for the second local challenge of Garheim.

Excellent work! The process looks very realistic, I especially like the boulder being pulled/levered out.
Living on a farm I have actually picked rock, not a fun job

Nice job with this. The motion of getting the rock out is really well portrayed.
You would rather be building right now.

That really looks like hard work. Well done getting the feeling into your creation. Like also the rough terrain look, would fit well with southern Garhiem. :)

This is a neat idea, and the action is well done. I'm surprised that the lord is helping though.

I love this. We so often build big castles or siege engines, or even town shops, but rarely such an everyday scene as this. Great job.

Ahh, yes, but that is part of the beauty of the LCC project! We can be easily inspired to build "commonplace" scenes for our characters, either in developing our own stories, or by participating in the challenges that are proposed by our always brilliant Faction Overseers ;)

I really liked this MOC. I'm hoping that the LCC project produces many more great ideas like this one :)

Thanks all! I love the fact that LCC really inspires to build something else that the usual castles and battles.

In Garheim, we all are hard workers :D Also, my character had to be included somehow...
