LCC-Garheim-Freebuild: Ayleth Castle

"Built by the powerful Ayleth family of Garheim, Ayleth castle sits on the southern coast of Garheim and provides protection and comfort for the rich of garheim. With rumors of Siege weaponry being manufactured in Lenfald a segment of the castle's garrison marches out to patrol the coast."

I hope this location is okay i just picked an area i thought fit the castle.
This is a freebuild i've been working on for a while. I really wanted to create something that would be a major landmark for Garheim and help the faction be greater than all of the others :D It wouldn't fit to have a luxurious castle with a swimming pool and a waterfall in the frozen north so i placed it on one of the southernmost points in Garheim.

A wonderful, sturdy looking castle. Getting that tall tower on an angle must have been tricky!

All those angles look great, but the size is what makes it really impressive. Good job!

I think that this free build is worth more than the usual 2 points...

Excellent castle, all the angle really bring it to life and the round tower is great. The landscaping looks like it could use a little spicing up.
The windows in the tallest tower (keep?) look wonderful, nice castle I guess Garheim is getting ready for war :halo:

Beautiful castle, my Garheim brother! It's height and angling are all very impressive. I especially like the massive round tower. Great job!
You would rather be building right now.

Thanks everyone! I haven't been contributing to the contests as much as i would like because I've been working on this  and I agree the landscaping is a little sparse.. I ran out of grass and bamboo pieces I need to get some more. But I tried to work with what I had so I tried to make it look like their were somewhat cleared paths like along the beach, to the beach, and to the romantic flowery waterfall area.

Amazingly huge, as all your castles :D
Much have been said already but I also like thoses towers. You have a really realistic building style, you seem to have studied medieval castles and keeps some 8).
I agree maybe a bit more change in the terrain would be good but I don´t know so much that it would be a reason to complain about it, maybe the terrain is a bit too flat for a realistic point but isn´t it this way the terrain looked like around a castle in medieval times?

I think we can hook you up w 4 free build points for this one. I think this is the biggest thing anyone has built for the LCC to-date, and a time investment like that should be properly rewarded.

Any objections by members of Garheim can be PM'd to me. I'll wait to post the points until after the LC3 is over.

This is the embodiment of everything a castle should be. The round tower is wonderful, and the other angled bits are awesome. The keep in the back looks very substantial. I love how realistic this looks too.

Very beautiful castle and diorama!!

I really like that the castle has different levels and that the towers have different designs and height!
Also like the waterfall detail!
