Below is my entry for LC4, the Coast-to-Coast Sled Dog Race
"Built for Speed"
The sun was getting low near the end of the first day of racing, but Rayth Wulfsbayne wasn't planning on stopping to make camp anytime soon. After blowing by Kroth Stonegrinder earlier in the day, he had met with some foul luck of his own, snapping one of his sled's skids as he hit the bottom of a steep gully. Never one to panic, he turned two of his dogs loose, knowing that they would survive just fine in the wilderness, and quickly put together a makeshift mono-ski to which he harnessed his two fastest beardogs. Now with Kroth surely hot on his heels, he plans on taking advantage of a well-marked section of the trail to push on into the first hours of darkness, in hopes of putting some distance between himself and the other racers.
MOC Overview:
A close-up of the sled:
This MOC uses 5 of the seed part - one as the base of each bush, and one on the marker post.
As always, C & C are welcome.

Very nice, I love the back ground and that sled is definitely built for speed!

Wow, looks like you entered just in time. The sled design is interesting to say the least, but like you said, it is built for speed. Great job overall, this is a very complete scene.

Good work on the snow and sled, and seeing as it was so successful maybe you will start a new trend of mono-skis

I doubt it. As you can see, he's already managed to use up what little supplies he was able to fit into the sack. These types of sleds are only good for short journeys (or, in Rayth's case, if you're too stubborn to quit and don't mind going without food for a few days).
