LCC - Garheim LC4 - Repairs during the race

Post by gurusql »

Kroth Stonegrinder was making great time on this leg of the coast-to-coast sled dog race, when he noticed that the main connection holding his dogs to the sled was getting loose. Kroth, pulled over the side to perform some quick repairs. While he was working on the sled, Rayth Wulfsbayne came flying around the corner. Rayth waved and Garth waved back – a quick an silent communication Rayth asking Kroth if assistance was required and Kroth waving him on. Kroth knew that he would have to be quick to catch back-up to Rayth, an experienced musher.

This build has a seed part which is the Tile, Round 2 x 2 - Thin Lifting Ring. Part Number 2376 on Bricklink. The MOC contains six of the lift rings all black. 2 on the sides of each sled, one more is helping the cylinder shape under the cloak in Rayth's sled and one is part of Kroth's snowshoes (right foot only).

Wow. Great job recreating my sled!

Now I hope you're ready to eat my dust for the rest of the race! Nobody's catching the speedy Rayth Wulfsbayne! :P

Thank you. Honestly it was almost harder to re-create your character. :D But I did spend about 6 hours to create the two sleds and your mini-fig. The fun part was adding in as many of the secret parts into your existing design.

Nice job! I like that you included two styles of sleds. The large snowy pine tree looks great too. Now just catch up to Rayth!
You would rather be building right now.
