Hallo,

I am an avid LEGO fan in my twenties. I never had what I've seen called a "Dark Age(s)."
I started getting into castles not too long before the time they changed the colors in 2003.
I still only use the old colors and elements from before 2003 - a habit which is increasingly expensive.
I have been reading the forums here for a couple of years. I'm really not sure why I didn't register sooner.
I really enjoy seeing everyone's MOCs, and I look forward to sharing my current projects as I get the pictures uploaded to Flickr.

Seems like a great community of talented builders here, and I look forward to meeting you all, as it were.

I have this nostalgic love for the bright colors and somewhat simple designs of the castles that I grew up with, so I try to keep that aesthetic, but build it in a more realistic scale and setting.
