Wow konze, two wins in a row now, nice job! Congrats to AK for winning the race in his "speed sled" too.
You would rather be building right now.

After an extremely busy couple of months I am back. A lot has happened from what I can see and it will take me a while to catch up :woo:

Faction Roster and Leaderboard updated.

I've been working on assembling my Garhim forces for a photoshoot. Hopefully will get those posted in the next day or two.

ANNOUNCEMENT!
I know a lot of our members here are not American, but since the 4th of July is coming up (American Independence Day), I thought it would be cool to have a small LC to commemorate it. LC5 is now posted in the "announcements" section, and you only have until 11:59pm on 7/4/12 to finish, so be sure to check it out and get started!

It's covered in the contest announcement. ANY time zone is allowed! Basically if it's 11:59pm of 7/4/12 somewhere, I'll allow it :)

Gentlemen,

I am back here AGAIN to warn you about your posts. They are not containing CONTENT. Please adjust your posts. I do not want to lock this thread but I will if the posting does not change.

PLEASE READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS:

OK guys, we had a really good run, but Garheim is finally the last faction to get nailed for short, no-substance posts :( . Please keep the following in mind, for those of you who haven't seen this warning on the other faction threads:

Replies in this thread should contain faction-related questions or contributions. "Cool! This sounds fun!" is not a contribution. "Sorry I've been gone a long time, but I'm working on stuff now." is not a contribution. If you want to add more to those comments to make them relevant, then we are happy to hear from you. Double-posting, no matter how good the content is, is also not allowed. There is an "edit" button. Learn how to use it.
Even congratulations for winning a contest should be PM'd to the individual, or at least accompanied here by more pertinent thoughts related to Garheim business. I am not trying to pick on anyone in particular here. These rules apply to everyone equally.

Occasionally, you will see me post something short like "scores have been updated". This might seem like it falls in line with the above, but it is actually very important because it gives me a reference point so that I know which submissions have been scored to date.

Appropriate Content for Posting Includes:
Questions related to faction-specific business (contests, personal scores, etc), links to faction-specific MOCs (either to the MOC forum or an outside host like Flickr, Brickshelf, etc), or suggestions for future faction-specific business (contest ideas, ideas for new map locations, etc) should be pretty much the only thing posted here. Everything else should either be posted in the appropriate thread (LCC FAQ / Discussion thread, Guild Thread, etc) or sent via PM.

I know that this is the first time we Garhims have been warned, but any future action required by Bluesecrets or other CC Moderators or Admins will result in me either docking points from your personal score, or exclusion from a future contest, at my sole discretion. Blue is getting tired of playing "bad cop", and I don't blame her. I won't allow we Garhims to add to her workload (the other 3 factions do a good enough job of that already! ).

We have a lot of new people here, and I'm thrilled to have you, so don't take this personally. I love seeing activity on this thread, and the whole LCC project has become wildly successful, which is really awesome :) This is just my best effort to ensure that this project is allowed to continue and does not violate the Classic Castle Terms of Service, with which I'd ask you all become familiar with, if you aren't already.

Thanks for your continued interest and support of this project, and I look forward to seeing entries for LC5 soon. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions regarding this response.

in the southern province lays a castle that challenges all others, originally a trading post, as more wealth and more threats came in from the other factions the walls were built taller and stronger. a village started to pop up around the castle and soon a strong agricultural life style was based around the stronghold. right now the castle is under attack by a group of roving trolls but not to worry for help is on the way.

Hey guys!

Sorry I haven't been around very much lately. Life gets really busy before you know it! I've got a lot of building to catch up on, like on the greco-roman group and others on Flickr... but don't worry, I'll be able to contribute to Garheim soon!

(Sir Ankles the Bold) That's one incredible castle!

Sincerely,
Sir Angus the Bold

P.S. The entries for the LC5 are looking very nice! :D
