Cuusoo Project - Tessalation Tiles

Post by friskywhiskers »

This would probably render Katie's mosaic technique useless, but I think that this is a great project!

What do you think? :)

It's certainly an interesting idea. The thing that stood out to me about this project is the quality of the pieces he made!

I really like this idea. I supported it.

I agree, that it renders the technique a bit useless, but I think the new piece overall would provide more gateways into all types of Lego themes. A combo of both SNOT floor tilling (Katie W.'s techniques) and the piece would provide a cool affect, but just by two cents. :)

I really like those regular octogon shaped ones. Great project!
You would rather be building right now.

This and "inverted" cheese slope is something that TLG should start making :D

What would an inverted cheese slope look like? I can;t picture it, isn't the tip too narrow?

Yes that is quite impressive isn't it!

I really hope that this gets approved, but how would TLG market them? I mean would they just start suddenly including mosaics in sets, or would they do a stand alone theme similar to Life of George?

The inverted cheese slope would have a stud in place of the hole in the bottom of a regular cheese slope.
